School-Age
Access to school-aged child care remains important even after a child enters elementary school. At Learning As We Grow, we understand that parents still require childcare services, and we want to assure them that our facility is here to provide that support. Our school-age program is ideal for older students who need a safe and enriching environment during times when regular school is not in session, such as holidays, breaks, and summer vacations. This program is available for any school-aged student between kindergarten and 12 years old and can be arranged on a regular or as-needed basis. We are committed to continuing to help children grow and develop, even as they progress through different stages of their academic and personal lives.

School-Age students have designated nap times, unlike infants. Therefore, it's essential for students to have specific naptime items. We recommend purchasing a small cot sheet to go over their nap pads. Naptime can be a challenging adjustment, particularly on the first day of daycare. To help ease this transition, we suggest bringing in their favorite blanket, pillow, or soft stuffed animal to provide them with comfort during their new naptime routine at daycare.
