Our Mission

Learning As We Grow Child Care and Preschool is a family child care center in which children are provided a rich academic environment to thrive and a strong foundation is set as children learn through play. We welcome you and your family! Here is a place where all children thrive. Learning As We Grow is a safe place, where children take small steps to giant leaps.
With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Learning As We Grow Childcare and Preschool, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Our Programs
INFANTS
We know how tough it is to put your baby in day care after being home with them for their first precious moments. We get it, we are mommies, too. This is exactly why we know how to support you during this transition. ​Our spacious baby room is designed for our infants to have the freedom to develop their gross motor skills. Teachers support our babies learning how to crawl, walk, climb, and play!
toddlers
Our toddler teachers provide opportunities throughout each day to foster fine motor skill development. We strive to create an environment wherein our students learn independence, social skills, and potty training!
preschool
Through dramatic play and interactive learning, our preschool program continues the development of each child's social-emotional skills inside and outside of the classroom. Our teachers serve as role models in the class, demonstrating proper behavior and socialization
Kindergarten
Our kindergarten program offers our families an opportunity to provide their children with consistency and continuity of care.

The kindergarten teachers prepare our students for their next step into the elementary school level of their education.
school-age
School-age children have a separate classroom with age-appropriate activities, technologies, and learning tools to enhance their learning.

Free meals and snacks are provided along with free round trip transportation to schools. Our program includes homework help, literacy, outdoor play, and activities.
